Biotium Nucleolar / Nucleoli(NM95), CF740 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This MAb is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. It reacts specifically with human cells. This monoclonal antibody is part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. MAb NM95 recognizes an antigen associated with the nucleoli in human cells. It can be used to stain the nucleoli in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a marker of the nucleoli in subcellular fractions. It produces a speckled pattern in the nuclei of cells of normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain the nucleoli of cells in fixed or frozen tissue sections. It can be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations and formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. Biotium EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)(rGFR/1667), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This MAb recognizes a protein of 170 kDa, identified as EGFR. EGFR is type I receptor tyrosine kinase with sequence homology to erbB-1, -2, -3 -4 or HER-1, -2, -3 -4. It binds to Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), Transforming Growth Factor-a (TGF-a), Heparin-binding EGF (HB-EGF), amphiregulin, betacellulin and epiregulin. EGFR is overexpressed in tumors of breast, brain, bladder, lung, gastric, head neck, esophagus, cervix, vulva, ovary, and endometrium. It is predominantly present in squamous cell carcinomas. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

Biotium MMP9 (Matrix Metalloproteinase 9)(MMP9/2477), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
The matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) are a family of peptidase enzymes responsible for the degradation of extracellular matrix components, including collagen, gelatin, fibronectin, laminin and proteoglycan. Transcription of MMP genes is differentially activated by phorbol ester, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB). MMP catalysis requires both calcium and zinc. MMP-9 (also designated 92 kDa type IV collagenase or gelatinase B) has been shown to degrade bone collagens in concert with MMP-1 (also designated interstitial collagenase, fibroblast collagenase or collagenase-1), and cysteine proteases and may play a role in bone osteoclastic resorption. MMP-1 is down-regulated by p53, and abnormality of p53 expression may contribute to joint degradation in rheumatoid arthritis by regulating MMP-1 expression. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photo

Biotium GATA-3 (Breast and Urothelial Marker)(GATA3/2444), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
GATA-3 is a zinc finger transcription factor and plays an important role in promoting and directing cell proliferation, development, and differentiation in many tissues and cell types. GATA-3 expression is primarily seen in breast and urothelial carcinomas. 'Therefore, GATA3 antibody can be useful in the identification of unknown primary carcinoma when carcinomas of the breast or bladder are a possibility.

Biotium PAX8 (Renal Cell Marker)(PAX8/2774R), 0.2mg/mL
Recognizes a protein of 62 kDa, identified as PAX8. It is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. This nuclear protein is involved in thyroid follicular cell development and expression of thyroid-specific genes. Mutations in this gene have been associated with thyroid dysgenesis, thyroid follicular carcinomas, and atypical thyroid adenomas. PAX-8 is expressed in the thyroid (and associated carcinomas), non-ciliated mucosal cells of the fallopian tubes, and simple ovarian inclusion cysts, but not normal ovarian surface epithelial cells. PAX-8 is expressed in a high percentage of ovarian serous, endometrioid, and clear cell carcinomas, but only rarely in primary ovarian mucinous adenocarcinomas. PAX-8 expression is reported in renal tubules as well as renal cell carcinoma, nephroblastoma, and seminoma. PAX-8 antibody may be used as an additional immunohistochemical marker for renal epithelial tumors. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a

Biotium CD44v3 (Marker of Tumor Metastasis)(3G5), 0.2mg/mL
This antibody recognizes an epitope encoded by exon v3 on the variant portion of human CD44. The CD44 molecule belongs to a family of cellular adhesion molecules found on a wide range of normal and malignant cells in epithelial, mesothelial and hemopoiesis tissues. CD44 is a single gene with 20 exons, of which 10 are normally expressed to encode the basic CD44 (H-CAM) molecule. The additional 10 exons (v1 to v10) are only expressed by alternative splicing of the nuclear RNA. The expression of specific cell adhesion molecule CD44 splice variants has been reported to be associated with metastasis in certain human malignancies. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-spe

Biotium RCAS1 / Estrogen Receptor Binding Site Associated, Antigen 9(CPTC-EBAG9-2), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
EBAG9, also known as RCAS1, is an estrogen-transcribed protein. Soluble and membranous RCAS1 proteins may play a role in the immune escape of tumor cells by promoting T lymphocyte inhibition of growth and apoptosis. RCAS1 is expressed in a wide variety of cancers, including uterine, ovarian, and lung cancer cells, and acts as a ligand for a putative receptor present on peripheral lymphocytes. RCAS1 is highly expressed not only in cancer cells but also in non-tumor bile duct cells subject to immune attack. RCAS1 inhibits the in vitro growth of receptor-expressing cells and induces apoptosis, contributing to the ability of tumor cells to evade host immune surveillance. High expression of RCAS1 significantly correlates with tumor progression and with poor outcome for many cancer patients. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluo
